Parish Life

Pastoral council

The committee of the leaders of the various parish organizations is called the Pastoral Council. The council meets monthly and is headed by a chairperson who presides over the meeting. The Parish priest is in attendance and a secretary records the minutes.

At a Pastoral Council meeting, leaders of the various parish organizations advise all present on the activities of their respective groups. This ensures that the parish is aware of all projects, events, concerns, and needs of all working in support of each other to the grand benefit of the entire congregation.

The Pastor brings liturgical information to the council so as the groups can assist, inform, and plan in accordance with the church calendar and religious celebrations through out the year.

Members at large are welcome to attend the monthly Pastoral Council meeting.
