Holy Order

Holy Orders is the sacrament by which Deacons, Priests, and Bishops, are ordained and receive the power and grace to perform their sacred duties. The sacred rite by which orders are conferred is called Ordination.

It is important that all believers pray for vocations. Here in our Parish we pray for vocation every Thursday during the celebration of the Eucharist, and during the Exposition of the Holy Sacrament.

There are also brothers and sisters (Nuns) who offer their lives to serve others through different Religious Institutes or Communities. They are not ordained but Consacrated. They have the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience and dedicate themselves to a life of Prayer and Service.
