Parish Life

Knight of Columbus

In 2008, Father Victor Dionne (ofm) approached members of the parish about his interest to start a council of the Knights of Columbus.

To start, it would require 40 men to agree to be members.  As members signed up, they became part of the Montreal council 284.

Once the magic number was reached (in a very short time!) we were able to officially establish our council on August 25th, 2008.

Since then, Council 14613 (OLPH) has been active with the parish and in the community.

We have worked with the parish on numerous projects, repairs, and community initiatives.

Pope John Paul II referred to the Knights of Columbus as the “strong right arm of the Church” for their support of the Church and local communities, as well as for their philanthropic efforts.

Council 14613 is proud to be there for our parish.
